316 stainless steel is a stainless steel quality obtained by adding molybdenum and more nickel into 304 quality stainless steel. Thanks to this content, the corrosion resistance of 316 grade stainless steels is very good even in harsh conditions (seawater, acidic liquids, etc.). Moreover, the ultimate strength of 316 grade stainless steel is much higher than that of 304 grade stainless steel.
316 quality stainless steel materials in our company are available in various thicknesses in rod, hexagonal, lama and square shapes and in the following material list. 316 grade stainless steel is also called stainless steel 1.4401 grade.
316 quality stainless steel material due to the high quality of the wide range of uses. For example, it is recommended to use stainless steel materials in tanks and storage tanks of corrosive liquids, chemical and petrochemical industry, steam boilers, paint industry, food plants and mining in grades 316 (1.4401).
