SUS410 is nickel-free stainless steel, martensite stainless steel, good hardenability and have higher hardness, toughness, better corrosion resistance, thermal strength and cold deformation performance, shock absorption is also very good. High or low tempering is required, but tempering between 370-560℃ should be avoided.


SUS410 is a JIS standard steel, Equivalent to GB 1Cr13; DIN X10Cr13; ASTM 410.

The 410 is a member of the stainless steel family. For the 410, there are 0Cr13 and 1Cr13, depending on the usage.

SUS410(13Cr) has good corrosion resistance and machining properties. 410S is the type of steel that improves the corrosion resistance and formability of steel 410. 410F2 is the type of lead easily cut steel that does not degrade the corrosion resistance of steel 410. 410J1 is the type of high strength steel that further improves the corrosion resistance of steel 410. Used for turbine blade and high temperature parts.

Stainless steel due to high strength, relative weight is relatively light, especially after the impact, the absorption of energy are lighter than other metal materials, also have good safety performance, is the key material used in the automobile transportation industry. 


The annual automobile production in the United States is more than 10 million, and each car need 40~50kg of ferrite steel only for the exhaust pipe. Ferrite structure stainless steel, chromium content in 11%~30%, with body - centered cubic crystal structure. This kind of steel generally does not contain nickel, sometimes also contains a small amount of Mo, Ti, Nb and other elements.


This kind of steel has the characteristics of large thermal conductivity, small expansion coefficient, good oxidation resistance, good resistance to stress corrosion, etc. It is mainly used for making parts that are resistant to atmospheric water vapor and oxidation acid corrosion.

The defects of this kind of steel, such as poor plasticity, reduced plasticity and corrosion resistance after welding, limit its application. The application of outside furnace refining technology (AOD or VOD) can greatly reduce the gap elements such as carbon and nitrogen, so this kind of steel is widely used. 


Application: used for making parts resistant to atmosphere, water vapor, water and oxidizing acid corrosion.
